The former restaurant 'Stallschänke' first opened its doors in 1967. With a new owner in 2014 the restaurant required a design overhaul in order to target a younger clientele. The design brief required the use of the original name and its historical background, but with a new modern twist.
The new brandmark combines historical and modern ideas by using serif and sans-serif typefaces, as well as modern versions of traditional icons. The used look of the badge helps to characterize the rustic nature of the restaurant, which is now renamed as 'Stallschaenke 2.0 – Bistro and Bar'.
